Below are examples of itineraries, based on actual tours from school and national groups all booked with Simon. These tours have been tried and tested, and Simon is able to individualy tailor each one to suit your groups particular needs, or create an entirely new itinerary!

DAY

Suggested Itinerary

ONE

Depart New Zealand for Singapore and on to Phnom Penh

TWO

Arrive Phnom Penh International Airport,
visit the infamous Killing Fields at Cheung Ek

THREE

Day at leisure

FOUR

Morning speedboat transfer from Phnom Penh pier to Siem Travel by river and experience life on the river
This afternoon brief visit to the Angkor temples and  enjoy sunset at Angkor or Bakheng Mountain before returning back to hotel for overnight.

FIVE

Visit the Floating Village on the Tonle Sab Lake and enjoy the Picnic Lunch
Ox Cart ride around the Area, Boat trip on the Lotus Lake (optional),
After lunch visit Ta Prom Temple. Continue journey onto to the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor - Angkor Wat.
Enjoy sunset at Bakheng Mountain before returning back to hotel for overnight.

SIX

Visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th c.),
Return back to hotel for a freshen up prior to going to the dinner with a Apsara Dance show

SEVEN

Transfer to Siem Reap Airport for your onward flight to Saigon (Vietnam)
Arrive Sai Gon International Airport late afternoon
Remainder of afternoon at leisure.

EIGHT

Half Day Sai Gon City Tour. Visit the Cholon (China Town) Wholesale market, Thien Hau Pagoda,
Notre Dame Cathedral and War Museum.

NINE

Day at leisure in Sai Gon.
Early evening transfer to Sai Gon Railway Station for overnight train to Da nang

TEN

Arrive Da nang Station
Remainder of day at leisure.

ELEVEN

At leisure in Hoi An

TWELVE

Transfer to Hue via the Hai Van Pass with stops at Marble Mountain, Lang Co / China Beach and Cham Museum

THIRTEEN

Full Day Hue Tour - explore the historical significance on a city tour. Starting with a boat trip along the Perfume River to Thien Mu Pagoda,.   Lunch at a local Pancake Restaurant.  After lunch continue by road to the Ancient Citadel,
Tonight experience the fun Imperial Dinner and Show – dine

FOURTEEN

Full Day DMZ Tour – includes lunch and visit to MAG  (Mines Advisory Group Training Centre)
After breakfast travel to the DMZ.  Visit to the Mines Advisory Group (30mins) training centre in Dong Hoi, with a briefing by from the Mines Advisory Group (MAG), and then the opportunity to wander  round the visitors centre,
Depart Dong Hoi on Train SE 4    ** Shared 4 Berth A/C Sleeper reserved  **

NOTE: The train is basic with 4 berth shared compartments featuring upper and lower bunk beds with blanket and pillow. There is a toilet at the end of each carriage. 

FIFTEEN

Arrive Ha Noi, where you will be met by your local English Speaking Guide and
transferred to Halong Bay

2 Day Halong Bay Tour  -   arrive Halong Bay around midday and board your Deluxe Junk for lunch and cruise around the famous Halong Bay islands.  ** Kayaks available for use **

SIXTEEN

Brunch is served onboard as you cruise back to Ha Long City. Arrive Ha Long Bay Pier, where transfer by road to Ha Noi

SEVENTEEN

Day at leisure till evening transfer to Ha Noi International Airport for your onward flight to Singapore and New Zealand

EIGHTEEN

Arrive New Zealand
